About the Author

Doug Krull thought he wanted to be a veterinarian and went to the University of California, Davis to study animal science. However, along the way he changed his major to psychology and graduated in 1985. He went to the University of Texas at Austin for graduate school in social psychology and graduated in 1990. He worked at the University of Missouri-Columbia and then moved to Northern Kentucky University in 1996. In addition to introductory psychology, he regularly teaches social psychology, social psychology lab, and consumer psychology, and he has also taught cognitive psychology and the psychology of religion. His research interests include attribution/first impressions, perceptions of science, and multiple topics in the psychology of religion.
