This book will help dental students prepare for OSCE’s at various levels by providing them with a wide variety of OSCE’s with answers from content experts from different regions of the world. This we believe is the strength of our book as it brings together expert opinion, different style and experience in OSCE design which is not restricted to any particular region. Our book will help the student prepare for similar exams and contribute towards integrated learning and assessment in clinical dentistry. It is however, not a textbook or a guide to teach clinical skills, it will only help build on the sound knowledge of the relevant topics. We have followed a subject wise layout of the OSCE’s in order to help the student categorise the learning topics for ease in referring standard textbooks which are predominantly written subject wise. The cases are designed to test skills such as diagnosis, communication skills, simple manipulation techniques and radiographic interpretation. The book also aims at giving constructive ideas to academicians who look forward to innovate, redesign, and implement OSCE’s as a system of assessment.
