About the Author

The three editors are professionally active with many years of experience in midwifery and women’shealth clinical practice, education, and scholarship.

Robin G. Jordan, PhD, CNM, FACNM is a certified nurse-midwife and midwifery educator. She is currently Adjunct Faculty in the Nurse-Midwifery/WHNP programs at Georgetown University. She is engaged in local and national political advocacy with a special focus on women’s health and health policy.

Cindy L. Farley, PhD, CNM, FACNM is a certified nurse-midwife and midwifery educator. She is currently a full time Associate Professor in the Nurse-Midwifery/WHNP programs at Georgetown University. She serves as a locum tenens midwife to two midwifery practices caring for Amish women in Ohio.

Karen Trister Grace, PhD(c), MSN, CNM is a certified nurse-midwife and midwifery educator. She is currently Adjunct Faculty in the Nurse-Midwifery/WHNP programs at Georgetown University. She is engaged in doctoral studies at the Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing with a research focus in reproductive coercion.
