The Content of this book is excellent but the Amazon Kindle version is poor. Difficult to navigate and dreadful quality figures and illustrations.

The surgical techniques are laid out in a logical manner with short succinct summaries on anatomy, pathogenesis, History and physical findings, non operative and operative management and rehabilitation. World experts have written various sections and various approaches are provided where controversy exists.

I have the kindle version and read it via my Ipad. The images are very poor quality, even when i access it from my Mac Book. The operative images are so low quality you cant decipher what you are looking at, coarse and pixellated. The pearls and tips boxes are also images which again are poor quality and only just readable.

The Index is poorly laid out and requires scrolling from the beginning each time with out being able to shortcut to major categories. This makes using the book frustrating and the search engine is slow and requires correct sequence of words to find your result. These issues significantly affect the function which is frustrating as other kindle books such as Millers Orthopaedics work so well.

The content really is excellent which makes it very frustrating navigating. Having all four volumes constantly at hand on your Ipad or Iphone is a brilliant aid but be prepared for endless scrolling through indexes. I hope they update the electronic version
