It is more focused than the parent book, Fischer’s Mastery of Surgery, 6th edition, Fischer et al.(Lippincott Williams & Wilkins, 2012). It would not be the best choice for a junior resident, who needs to read about basic anatomy, pathophysiology, and techniques.”
